A course on fluid dynamics and hydraulics was organised by Lexar
AS, from 20.10.2009 to 22.10.2009 in Forus Teknologipark. Employees from
Statoil, Hitec Products AS and Lexar AS attended the course. The aim of the
course was to help engineers improve their knowledge of hydraulics as well as
developing their skills in the software programmes Dynhax and Tomhax.
Dynhax and Tomhax are softwares used for calculations and
simulations of hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems. Laws of fluid
dynamics, characteristics and specifications of components used in hydraulics
systems were thoroughly examined.
Feedback about the course has been wholly positive. The
participants have among other things extolled the expertise of the course
instructor Aksel Fossbakken, the organisation of the course in theoretical and
practical parts as well as the content.
