The two gas lift modules from Valhall WP to Valhall Flanke North and Valhall Flanke South - have been designed as the major modifications for Valhall Flanke platforms.
Aker Solutions has given Lexar the task of calculating the total oil consumption on Valhall Flanke platforms in order to verify that after the new hydraulic consumers have been installed on the new gas lift modules, HPU's and accumulator banks will still have enough capacity for supplying the hydraulic system. The project is still ongoing.
Valhall field has been in production since 1982.The installation period for the gas lift modules started in August 2009.
