Lexar is involved in the development of application-based valve training courses for Aker Elektro, a subsidiary of Aker Solutions, where two out of five sections have been completed.
While Section 1 dealt with valve construction, sealing-principles, and valve operations of various valve types in process systems, Section 2 dug deeper into the world of valve-specifications, selection, standards and testing.
Both sessions were held at Hjelmeland Spa & Velvære where the latter was completed in March 2008. The feedback from the course participants has been overwhelming.
The remaining sections will involve control-valves, choke-valves, HIPPS and hydraulic systems.
